We conducts professional appraisals of rugs and provides Certificates of Appraisal.
A professional appraiser must consider a wide range of factors to determine the value of an antique rug or vintage carpet. Where it was made, its age, its design, coloration, condition, and size are just a few of the many factors used to establish a rug’s value.
Our on-staff expert appraiser, Metin Demir, has over 30 years experience in the handmade rug industry and he deals with antique rugs on a daily basis. His experience allows him to appraise antiques in a professional and reliable manner.
Comprehensive Reports
The appraisal examination will provide an accurate identification of the rug and determine its name, construction method, quality, materials, country of origin, and value. Certificates of Appraisal include a detailed analysis of its condition, specific recommendations for care, and whether or not any needed repairs are worth the cost.
Buying, selling and appraising rugs is what we do every single day, and we are proud to share our knowledge and experience with you.
